It Is Finished

Bound by pain and strife

But Freedom says it is finished 

Searching for worth in this life

But Love says it is finished

Worthy of justice and hell

But Mercy says it is finished

My future no one can tell 

But Hope says it is finished 

Over again I stumble 

But Grace says it is finished

Weak and weary I often crumble

But Rest says it is finished 

Saddened by the hurt of the world

But Joy says it is finished 

Possessing all I could ever need and more 

Because Jesus said it is finished. 

By His comfort the Spirit says It is finished

From His throne the Father says it is finished

Let all creation and His people cry together

It is finished, it is finished
